Lyle and Kay Carbert graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough, Ontario, in 1961 and 1960, respectively. Previously, Lyle attended the University of Western Ontario in London for two years. Since their marriage in 1959, they have planted churches in Ontario and Alberta. Lyle served on the P.A.O.C. District Executive for Alberta and Northwest Territories as presbyter and Kay served nine years as the Director of Women's Ministries. They travelled internationally encouraging ministries and churches and were involved in Mission Outreaches. In 2004 God led them to stop in Cochrane, Alberta at Springs of Joy Christian Fellowship where they continue to minister at the time of this writing. They have three children and 9 grandchildren.
