by Michael Obiora (Author)
These poems were never written for publication.
They were written on specific dates - over eighteen years - as a way to survive the moment.
On This Day I Thought is a chronological collection of raw, date-stamped and illustrated reflections exploring depression, ambition, grief, jealousy, love, identity and the long journey toward emotional clarity.
Nothing rewritten.
Nothing disguised.
Just the record of a mind evolving.
For readers who appreciate honest contemporary poetry that confronts growth, mental health and self-interrogation without sentimentality.
