Author Biography

Max Evans, a native of the small railroad town of Thayer, in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks grew up in the nineteen thirties to the fifties. He and his wife, Mary Lou live in Texas and have a daughter, son-in-law and grandson nearby. He never forgot the carefree days of his youth, which spanned the World War II era and likes to recall and write about those days.
