by Svetlana Grigoryan (Author)
When the new second-grade students are asked to talk about their favorite memories, Lusin creates an extensive report that includes five paintings and lots of information about owls. Based on her experience finding an injured owl, she shares all the ways these birds are more special than all of the others. Lusin presents five important facts with illustrations to show her points.
But more importantly, this little girl promotes positivity and inspires people to act kindly and just. She even earns recognition for both her report and her attitude.
This story for kids not only shares useful information about owls, and through Lusin, it communicates the importance of kindness and a happy outlook.
