My Reflection Journal Grade 5, developed in cooperation with the IB, supports students to develop the learner profile, approaches to learning skills, and understanding of agency, action and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It provides a consistent space for ongoing reflection, helping students understand themselves as learners. Through a wide variety of engaging activities, learners can authentically practice and apply skills while making explicit connections between the learner profile and approaches to learning skills. The journal's flexible, open-ended format allows students to explore at their own pace, using any concepts or inquiries, and to express their reflections in their own way. It encourages metacognition with a range of visible thinking routines, supports collaboration, agency and action and facilitates the co-creation of personal learning goals and community Essential Agreements.
