Papi's Pan Dulce - Paperback

by Patricia Escorza-Jaime (Author), Beth Spiegel (Illustrator)

Ann has a great love for her Papi's cakes and especially his pan dulce, the sweet bread that he makes at his panaderia. She can hardly wait to see how Papi decorates her birthday cake this year! Ann has a special wish for the friends who come to her party, but one not-so-small surprise might ruin all of her plans.

Will Ann find a way to make her birthday wish come true?

This sweet story touches on friendship, the importance of feeling pride in one's heritage and culture, and on learning all the facts before drawing conclusions.
