Betty C. Tang is the creator of Parachute Kids, an instant Indie bestseller, ALA Asian/Pacific American Award Honor Book, B&N Book Award Finalist, and longlisted for the National Book Award, among many other distinctions! Outsider Kids was also an Indie bestseller, an Amazon top book of 2025, and received 3 starred reviews. Betty illustrated the New York Times bestselling Jacky Ha-Ha series of graphic novels by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein. Before becoming a full-time graphic novelist, Betty worked for various Hollywood animation studios, including Disney TV and DreamWorks Animation, and codirected an animated feature called Where's the Dragon?
