What we are reproducing is a group of self-absorbers in future generations who are not self-reliant, but rather self-indulgent people.

The primary concept of this book is to awaken the parent in parenting. Children need a blueprint for their development. But their parents need to create a valid blueprint first so that they can help their children on the path to responsible adulthood. A plan needs to be put into place from the time a mother conceives. Prevention is better than seeking a cure. Parenting is a delightful journey, but one that embraces many challenges. Vernon Sigmon is a graduate of Southeastern University of Lakeland, Florida, with a B.A. degree in Pastoral Counseling.
