Past Infinity is about the changing relationship between a child and their caregiver as they grow together, as well as the different ways that love is shown throughout their lives.

As no experience is universal, the inclusive wording and intentionally vague illustrations allow both children and adults to put themselves in the places of the characters in the book, and serve as a reminder that love is real, even if it looks different.
