Author Biography
Wallace Thornton, Jr. is a minister and a historian of the Christian tradition with special interest in the American Holiness Movement. He earned the MA in Church History from Cincinnati Bible Seminary, holds membership in the Wesleyan Theological Society, is a charter member of the Wesleyan Historical Society, and serves on the advisory board of the journal World Christianity and the Fourfold Gospel. His ministry of over twenty years has included teaching church history at three colleges, presenting at numerous conferences, and preaching in over a dozen denominations. His publications include Sons of Thunder, Lightning from the Past, and Mighty Man of Valour.
