Lyla Yastion obtained a Ph.D. in Anthropology from SUNY - Albany and has taught courses in religious studies and philosophy at Iona College, College of New Rochelle, and Mercy College. She is a reiki master, with training in shamanic healing. She lives in New Paltz, NY.
