Author Biography
Denise Walker lives along the river valley in downtown Edmonton, AB. She made her literary debut in 2016 with her dystopian thriller, 'Cedar Valley'. From then on she has focused her attention on creating 'Pick Your Poison', her first ever Poetry Collection featuring poems on addiction and recovery. Her sober journey began Spring of 2017 and she has since found solace in writing poetry, meditation, and nurturing her fiddle leaf fig tree, 'Figgie'. She works full-time as an Emergency Communications Officer at Ambulance Dispatch. In between shifts she enjoys brewing kombucha, binge-watching TV, and lusting after her next travel destination.
