It is a collaboration of two women who have share many aspects of life as mothers, wives, and university professionals. Here is an artist whose work becomes political, a therapeutic role to the culture. Here is a therapist poet whose work has shaped itself toward the beauty of the personal/mystical. Poetry and art convey the intimate relationship between the inner landscapes of poet and artist and the landscape they inhabit of the Southern Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina.
