From contemplative observations of unexpected beauty to boldly honest commentary on the often complex realities facing post-modern women and their endless high wire act, Kathy Cable Smaltz's poetry shows us what it means to persevere in an uncertain life. Her fresh, authentic voice will resonate with fans of poetry from Edna St. Vincent Millay to Shane Koyczan. Kathy's work has been published in Kalliope, The Northern Virginia Review, The Piedmont Journal, and The Fredericksburg Literary and Arts Review. She is a creative fellow with the VCCA and has been in residence in both Amherst as well as Auvillar, France.
