Enigmatic and withdrawn, but rebellious and tenacious, far from everyone, and also from the poetic tradition to which her time led her, Emily Dickinson created throughout her life an intimate and original work, crystalline as well as of unsuspected depths, in which she explores the human mind and soul while questioning feelings and nature, life and immortality.

He left 1,775 poems at his death, of which he only published seven during his lifetime. The great Argentinian writer Silvina Ocampo burst into this fragile universe by undertaking, with the same meticulousness and neatness as the American poet, the translation of 596 poems, which transmit her style, unscathed from its first verses, and reach us as diaphanous as at the moment of its creation.
