A married couple accidentally discovers how to tenderize grilled chicken and goes into business with an eccentric, wealthy pair of twins to open a chain of restaurants. After moving to Paradise, Pennsylvania into a new home, the couple begin to be haunted by pesky pullets and one particular cartoonish rooster, named, Rooster Galldarn. The comical "fowl play" that ensues is a facetious romp into a fantasy world haunted by "Poultry-Geists."
