Author Biography

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT Janet Munsil's plays have been produced internationally, by such theatres as Canada's National Arts Centre (Ottawa), Theatre Calgary, Alberta Theatre Projects, The Tarragon, Soho Theatre + Writer's Centre (London), Citizen's (Glasgow), Prague Fringe, Belltable Arts Centre (Ireland), the West Yorkshire Playhouse (Leeds), The Arts Club Stanley Theatre (Vancouver) and others. Her play That Elusive Spark was a Finalist for the 2014 Governor General's Literary Awards, and is available from Playwrights Canada Press. Other plays include The Ugly Duchess, Emphysema (a love story) / Smoking with Lulu (UK title), Be Still, Influence, Circus Fire, Sideshow, I Have Seen Beautiful Jim Key, Why I Fish, and Act of Faith.
