Author Biography

Paul Gross MD is founding editor of the online magazine Pulse--voices from the heart of medicine. He is an assistant professor of Family and Social Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. Diane Guernsey is executive editor of Pulse--voices from the heart of medicine. A former senior editor at Town & Country Magazine, she is a frequent contributor to Consumer Reports on Health. Peter Selwyn is chairman of the Department of Family and Social Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He authored Surviving the Fall: the Personal Journey of an AIDS Doctor (Yale University Press, 1991), which was nominated for the National Book Award.
