Drawing from an extensive personal journal that the author, Thomas A. Robinson, has maintained for the past 30 years, Robinson provides a collection of reflections that flow from "questions of faith." Three-quarters of the reflections spring from questions found in Holy Scripture, one-quarter from questions Robinson encountered on the tongues of loved ones. It is Robinson's belief that if the reader examines his or her own journey of faith, he or she will see that questions--and the forthcoming answers--have become an important part of the believer's framework of faith. Robinson notes that most of us are "an admixture of faith and doubt, a blend of absolute assurance and utter confusion."
