Author Biography

Jamie Raser, LMFT, LCSW, holds master's degrees in public health and clinical social work. He completed a postgraduate fellowship in family therapy at the Galveston Family Institute under the tutelage of Dr. Harry Goolishian, a pioneer in family systems theory and treatment.

Raser has worked with children and families since 1976, in settings as diverse as juvenile probation, children's protective services, schools, and private practice. He has been involved in the treatment of thousands of children and their families over the course of his career.

Raser is married, has one child, and lives in Texas.
