This book describes the war and the command failings that caused this U.S. military tragedy to occur. It was because of their actions and inactions from 27 November 1950 to 1 December 1950 that the RCT-31 was sacrificed, made to fight for five days under the most challenging conditions and then left to fight their way to safety on their own on 1 December 1950, knowing they had a near zero percent chance of survival.
