Author Biography

Kyle, now retired from the US Army, and a Special Forces "Green Beret" Combat Veteran; began his active service duty in the 101st Airborne Division before attending and completing SFAS and the Special Forces "Q" course. He finished with 20 years of dedicated service, 16 of those years in Special Forces operational detachment experience. As a Green Beret, he served as the Master Breacher and an Assaulter in the 3rd Special Forces Commanders In-Extremis Force (CIF) which came after the completion of Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance, Target Analysis, and Exploitation Techniques Course (SFARTAETC). Kyle served as the primary explosive breaching instructor, as well as, firearms and close quarters battle instructor for the 3rd Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course. Kyle holds a BA in Leadership and an MS in Security Management. Currently he is a full time Senior Instructor in Firearms at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center where he is the Lead Instructor of the Advanced Pistol Instructor Training Program. Kyle is a Sig Sauer Academy Master Instructor and is an adjunct instructor for the Sig Academy. Kyle is the owner of Modern American Combative Arts and also holds multiple Federal and NRA firearms Instructor certifications and is also a NRA Training Counselor.
