Five Jewish teenagers lose their families in a Nazi-instigated pogrom executed by their own neighbors in a remote Latvian village. After joining the partisans and becoming front-line fighters at the end of the war, they take an oath: to dedicate their lives to hunt down and execute the perpetrators.
