The emphasis is on what passages are relevant (all Bible text is included adjacent to the discussion) and how those passages can and have been used by Christians to reach doctrinal and theological positions. The goal is to increase Christian unity by understanding how various positions can be reached from Scripture and to encourage the reader to revisit their own background and traditions in the light of Scripture.
