Author Biography
Alison Pearce Stevens was a science professor until life took her overseas, at which point she started writing about science and nature for kids, because she's an educator at heart and had to find new ways to share cool things with the world's most curious people. Her books have been Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selections, won numerous awards, and been included in multiple best-of lists, including Best STEM Books, Outstanding Science Trade Books, and Bank Street's list of Best Children's Books of the Year. Matt Huynh is a Sydney-born, New York-based visual artist and storyteller. Huynh's animations, comics, and murals have been featured in exhibitions at MoMA, the Smithsonian, and the New-York Historical Society. His work has been honored by the Pulitzer Prizes and the Eisner and World Illustration awards.
