Chief Administrator Azira is surprised to learn a crew of humans has traversed the gate in an Alliance vessel. The ship is escorted to Rabanah and the humans questioned in the Great Chamber. Enzo and Randy are forced into hiding and President Louis is captured. The leader of the invading force is tasked with thinning the human population on Earth. Unaware of the situation on Earth, the crew of the Santa Maria is sent to Vandi to gather intelligence. As humans, their presence on Vandi goes unnoticed. Prior to the invasion of Earth, Dalton and Patrick returned to Mars to continue studying the Cydonia region. The research of an ancient scientist is uncovered. Can the unthinkable discoveries of a long dead Martian scientist turn the tide of war?
