by Scott Matthews (Author)

Convert to Islam or die is the stark choice Christians are facing...not in the Middle East, but in Oregon.

When Adam Drake, lawyer and former Special Forces Tier 1 operator, is retained by the Archdiocese of Portland to evaluate a forced conversion threat made to its parishioners, he has three days to determine if the threat is real.

Because the FBI considers the threat to be a hoax, Drake will have to hunt down the source himself and find a way to protect the church, if the danger is real and imminent.

A fast-paced, action-packed thriller with a plot that could be tomorrow's headline.

Author Biography

Scott Matthews lives in Oregon, where he met his wife, attended the University of Oregon and earned degrees in Journalism and Law. He served in the Oregon National Guard, first as a CBR Specialist and later as a JAG officer. That's the bare bones of his Bio. The rest of the story is that he got hooked reading Ian Fleming's James Bond novels at an early age and has read just about everything in that genre since then. He outlined stories he intended to write for years before he finally sat down and wrote THE ASSASSIN'S LIST, the start of the Adam Drake Thriller series. He likes wine, especially wine from Oregon's wine country, fishing and hunting and following Formula One racing. And, of course, reading thrillers.
