Scott Clayman: Man of Destiny - Paperback

by Tom Branson (Author)

Scott Clayman hops a westbound passenger train hoping to escape the clutches of his ornery stepfather, Jud Perkins. On the train is Lorraine Hamilton, who had made a bold move by taking the train, in hopes of distancing herself from her domineering father. A cruel twist of fate throws the two together when the train they're on is destroyed and robbed by the notorious Nelson Gang. As the only survivors of the train wreck, they are forced to become accomplices. Sheriff Jewett, a stern, no-nonsense lawman, believes Scott and Lorraine are suspects when he witnesses Scott at the controls of the relief train, leaving the sheriff and his deputies stranded in the chaos. Their lives turn upside down as they flee from an angry sheriff, a stepfather who wants to kill Scott, and Lorraine's father who wants Scott dead to protect his wayward daughter. This action-packed western novel will leave you wanting more, as you experience Scott and Lorraine's adventures and learn Scott's true identity-the reason his stepfather wants him killed.
