As African American's much of our history has been lost. I am the second generation from slavery and have set out to provide my family and friends with as much history as I know. Many battles have been fought and many victories have been won, but what does it all mean if the future generations have no record of it. I hope that for those reading this book, there will be a greater appreciation for each other and for those who have preceded us. God has been good to our generation and I pray that the blessings will continue down through the years. God saved me and I pray that he will save everyone who wants his plan of salvation.
