Author Biography

G. Gilman Wheeler was a Charles A. Dana scholar at Davidson College, and also attended the University of Miami. A resident of Winter Park, Florida, since 1971, Gil was born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida. Gil taught three generations of Winter Park families the game of tennis while pursuing his interest in writing. Sidney is heavily influenced by the magical forest he called Winter Park. Sidney is first of a collection of stories including Fluer, Orchid and Wild Flower, and Bethoney. Gil passed away in January 22, 2014 and Sidney is published in his memory.
