by David Ross (Author), James Ross (Author)
The Simplified King James New Testament originated as a desire to produce a New Testament based on the original King James Version (KJV), yet easy to read. The Simplified King James (SKJ) was the result of that effort. The old English structure of the original words and sentences have been modernized for a smoother read. Many of the idioms have been translated to give the reader a more complete understanding of the original intent of the verse. The SKJ is exegetically sound and to aid the readers is a large print New Testament.
