Author Biography

JUDY R. SMITH is a Professor Emerita of American and Native American Literature at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Her first novel, Yellowbird, won the Native Writers' Circle of the Americas Award. Her fiction interrogates the complicated relationships among and between Algonquin Indians and English Colonists.
