Johnny Espiritu is an alcoholic writer who decides to take one last, mindless walk around town before he is to commit suicide. On this walk and in the depths of his alcoholism, loneliness and suicidal ideation, he becomes infatuated with Soledad, a young woman who takes an interest in him. Responding to the human instinct of survival, he falls in love and finds that the trenches of infatuation are as deep as the trenches of his own mind.

Author Biography

Emmanuel Cervantes Mejia is a young writer, painter and musician from the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the author of "Should i Kill Myself or Have a Cup of Coffee?" a collection of poetry published in the fall of 2014.
