The book clearly describes the struggles believers face in maintaining dedication to beliefs that are difficult to live by. The author combines the history with a parallel tale of life at Cracker Box Palace Farm Animal Haven, the current owners of the land.
Though the book contains a lot of historical information, it is a fast-paced, enjoyable read.
