Author Biography
ANTHONY PIGNATARO: A journalist with nearly two decades as an investigative reporter, Anthony Pignataro is editor of the alternative weekly newspaper MauiTime in the vacation paradise of Hawaii, his home (off and on) since 2003. Much of the inspiration for his Maui novels comes from personalities, places and events he encounters living and working on Maui. "As a reporter," he says, "I often come across information that can't make it into the papers: rumors, innuendo, and fascinating old stories that are considered 'common knowledge' on the island. Bits and pieces of people I know or know of are presented in my novels." Stealing Cars With The Pros is a selection of Pignataro's investigative articles.
