Author Biography
As a kid, I dreamt of becoming a writer. I finished my first novel at the age of nine and authored poems and more stories for many years after that, including two movie scripts at seventeen. My crazy dreams wanted to take me to the movie industry, where I would have worked as a director and screenwriter. Instead, I went to law school, because "writing does not pay the bills", my dad used to say. Life made me go back to writing ten years later. I moved to New York City and discovered a world filled with excitement, dread, endless wonder and relentless change. The Big Apple serves as inspiration for all my stories. I write about my life, hopes, fears, friends and enemies, and anything else that comes to mind. J.K. Pitcairn
