Author Biography
James S. Kunen was a Columbia College sophomore when he wrote The Strawberry Statement. He has had a varied career in both journalism and law. Kunen has written several books and numerous essays for The New Yorker, People, Newsday, The New York Times Magazine, and many other publications.
