by Christopher Janke (Author)
Janke stops at nothing, not even the end of a line, in the expression of foment. These meditiations, set up on the synapses of an embryonic rat under knife, achieve potency through nerve. Disjunctive and epistemic, the poems consider consciousness and its wide, inchoate eye. By turns ferocious and goofy, these lines evidence the springing of the mind into being.
