The feud between Samuel Conners and Will Smithton had lasted over twenty five years. It started back in high school and just seemed to grow as time went by. It was similar to the old story about the 'Hatfields and McCoys.' If you asked most of the family members, you would get the same answer. "I don't know why or how it started." Even Samuel Conners was not sure why it existed or how this ill will could be put away.
