Police Constable Noah Sheppard is stationed in London's Docklands during the 1950s. His patrol area, from North Woolwich to Silvertown, is sandwiched between the Royal Docks and the giant sugar refinery beside the River Thames. An organised crime gang, led by the Montana brothers, arrives on the scene, causing mayhem and a spike in the crime rate. Noah and Hazel are in the forefront of the fight to put them out of business and the action accelerates to culminate in a satisfying conclusion.
