As he recorded his daily experiences through his recovery, he explored his fears and anxieties, allowing him to share his process of working through his unresolved baggage and moving from a place of self-neglect to taking responsibility. Through it all, he reveals the often-unrecognized gifts a traumatic, life-changing event can bring about.
