Ålesund is a town and municipality located right in M re og Romsdal county, Norway. It's part of the traditional district of Sunnm re and is the center of the Ålesund Region. This lovely Norwegian town is also a sea port widely known for its 'Art Nouveau' architecture. But the most fun part of this place (as you may have already guessed) is that the Vikings were here!
