Tales From the Blue: Adventures in Law Enforcement - Paperback

by J. B. King (Author)

Pimps, drunks, and craziness? Just another day on the job for a cop in Pulaski County, Missouri, during the 70's and 80's. JB King tells some of the crazy, but true stories of his life as Missouri State Highway Patrolman in rural Pulaski County. The 70's and 80's were a unique time in this small corner of the Midwest where houses of ill-repute dotted the landscape, soldiers led the great AWOL chase, and it seemed as if every nutty thing that could happen in law enforcement happened on a nightly basis. Tales from the Blue is a collection of true stories about the crazy world that was Pulaski County during that time. There are tales of how underwear and a drunk saved a life, what happens when you mix alcohol and firearms, fishing with a tow truck and what happens when the messiah has too much to drink.
