Author Biography
Dr Wendy Jolliffe is Professor at the University of Hull and a former deputy headteacher who has worked in Initial Teacher Training (ITT) for many years. She worked as a Regional Adviser for ITT for the National Strategies from 2008 to 2010.
David Waugh lectures at Durham University. A former deputy headteacher, David was National Strategies Regional Adviser for ITT. As well as his educational writing, David also writes children′s stories.
Angela Gill is Assistant Professor (Teaching) in the School of Education at Durham University. She is an experienced teacher with a particular interest in early reading. Angela provides expert input on phonics and early reading for both undergraduates and postgraduates.
