Author Biography

Rachel Poliner is a national leader and author on approaches and tools for advisory programs, social and emotional learning, and shaping positive faculty culture. She works with urban and suburban districts and small and large public and independent schools near Boston and across the United States.

Jeffrey Benson has worked in almost every school context in his 35 years in education: as a teacher in elementary, middle, and high schools; as an instructor in undergraduate and graduate programs; as an administrator in day and residential schools. The core of Jeffrey's work is in understanding how people learn, the starting point for everything that schools should do.
