by Erin Geary (Author)

Erin Geary wants to run ahead and make the future, gently nudge together a utopia where the marriage of feeling and fact is an encouraged brand of activism. The 19 year old New Yorker uses her soft, dreamy imagery and chatty, stream-of-conscious musings to develop her world of liberation, progress, and healing. Her storytelling turns truth on its head and sits comfortably in its contradiction.

Author Biography

Erin Geary is a 19 year old English/Secondary Education major at Hunter College in New York City. She currently resides in Mahopac, NY, where she spent her entire childhood. Erin hopes to teach middle school and write youth fiction one day. Her brand of activism is a marriage between feeling and fact, storytelling and politics. She hopes to be someone who passes out the tools to help others feel safe, especially during adolescence. "Teenage Oddity" is her fourth self-published chapbook.
