Author Biography
Lisa Hughes lives in Indianapolis, IN where she teaches elementary school students. She loves writing, empowering others and paying it forward. In her spare time Lisa coaches cheerleading at her school and volunteers at youth organizations and shelters. Lisa has spearheaded many initiatives to help the youth including fundraisers, stop the violence campaigns and organizing events that help youth with self-image, just to name a few. She believes in the power of affirmations and has created affirmation games and activities for her students. She hopes her children's books will aid with learning, building self-esteem, confidence, and encourage a positive outlook for all children.
