The cow knew he was different, but was confused as to why he felt this way. As he stumbles across a new friend, he realizes he isn't just a cow, but a barking one. The barking cow is different than any other cow, but he finds comfort in himself through his friend Dog, who makes a sound that gives him peace, realizing it's definitely OK to be different.
