The Book of James is a wonderful guide to how a Christian should live his or her life. It addresses issues such as: building Godly character, the wisdom that God gives when asked, God gives good gifts, must hear and do, faith with/without works, high opinions of others, wisdom comes in two types, hazards of the tongue, plans that lack God, praying during all situations, draw those who have gone astray, and many, many more. God supplied us with the knowledge that we need to live a successful Christian life. That knowledge is found in His written Word. God did not promise it would be easy, however, He did promise to be with us every step of the way. Through God's Word in the Book of James, God encourages, motivates, criticizes as well as reprimands. This is all with the intent to help us in our spiritual walk. Study God's Word with an expectation of spiritual growth.
