by Brian Bailie (Author)

The problem with discovering your roots: the more digging you do, the dirtier you can get. Adopted into middle-class urban respectability, but with origins deep in the heart of a dramatic rural landscape, BRONCLE is a personal journey of discovery intrinsically linked to the bloody past of Ireland; a true story of smuggling, heartbreak, betrayal, adultery, and lifetime of deception and secrecy.

Author Biography

Brian Bailie is an unassuming Irishman with a writing style that reflects a plainspoken sense of humour and his Ulster-Scots roots. He lives between the lough and the sea, in the rolling green landscape of the Ards Peninsula of Northern Ireland. Brian has written several non-fiction books (in his own name, and as a ghost-writer for other authors) on a range of topics. His personal experience includes an eclectic career encompassing farming, engineering, commercial art, and product design; his various exploits have taken him across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia, as well as several years working in the industrial east coast of China.
